Pastor Umar Mulinde appeals to church leaders and all peace-loving people to pay serious attention to the persecution of Christians world-wide. This message brings a reflection of those brothers and sisters in the Lord who are persecuted world-wide just because of their faith in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Over 700 forms of violence are committed against believers in Jesus every month with about 400 being killed each month. In 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, we read that, in Jesus, we are one body, and that if one body part is hurting, the whole body suffers. Since we are part of the body, and there is only one body, then we should therefore feel pain when our brothers and sisters are persecuted because of their belief in Jesus Christ our Lord. If we don’t honestly feel pain when our brothers and sisters are persecuted because of their belief in Jesus our Lord, then, we must ask ourselves, whether we are still part of the body or to what body do we belong?
