My On Going Story

Friends, my ongoing experience after Acid attack on me from my home country of Uganda, is a story of painful moments, affliction, an account about persecution and suffering for my beliefs…

Reflecting upon it brings back other recollections of how many in the scriptures suffered for the truth of God (Hebrews Chapter 11).

But in the context of Uganda, this reminds a cycle of events involving heinous crimes that have been committed against lots of people.

From King Mwanga II of Buganda, who in 1886,burned to death Christians, to Idi Amin who in early 70s declared Uganda to be an Islamic state, banned Churches & killed many non-Muslims by a barrel of a gun!

Not to forget that on 11th July 2010, 74 people were brutally killed in Uganda, when suicide bombings carried out against crowds watching a screening of 2010 final match of FIFA World Cup!

As some had regarded the suicide bombings to be politically related, the leader of al-shabaab was quoted claiming responsibility of the bombings, also making his statement loud and clear, stating that the killed people are enemies of Islam (Non-Muslims) killed in the war!
